== How do I register? ==
Go to our [[http://www.hah-clan.net|Forum]] and press on any of the register buttons there, or go [[http://www.hah-clan.net/ucp.php?mode=register|directly there]]. You have to agree to our terms of use, and be sure to put in a valid email address and fill in all required fields. Before you can log in, you will have to confirm your email address. Instruction on how to do this will be emailed to you after you submit the registration form.
== Should I register? ==
Yes
== What are the benefits of joining HAH? ==
Well, not much really, but you get:
- Access to all our (NSFW) posts
- 1 additional forum style
We also take care of our members, so if you need help in an online game or similar, we might be able to assist ((Within reason))
== By registering, am I a HAH member? ==
Not really. Joining the clan is a process, as we want stayers and not day flies. The general requirements are:
- Register, and post an introduction post. This is so we know you are here, and so that the system registers you as an applicant.
- After that, you are on a 30 day probation, where we require at least 30 posts in that period.
- After 30 days, we will have a vote, 7 yays, and you are in.
As there is a vote at the end, being an active poster will help members noticing you and hopefully vote for you.
== How do I login? ==
There are plenty of login forms on our [[http://www.hah-clan.net|forum]] you can use. If you can't see them, try going directly to the login page [[http://www.hah-clan.net/ucp.php?mode=login|here]]
== I am having problems logging in ==
Be sure you fill in the correct information in the fields, and that your account somehow isn't deactivated or deleted. Also make sure you have confirmed your email before attempting to login.
== I am having problems registering ==
First, make sure you fill in all the fields correctly. Not all fields are required, but those who are are marked with a *.
== My username / password combo does not work on the wiki ==
Well, that is because the wiki and the forum are two separate packages. If you want to create and edit on the wiki, you have to register manually. Currently editing the wiki is reserved for members of HAH only, so make sure you notify an admin about your user account on the wiki, so the correct permissions can be applied.
== I used to be a member, but I really want to be deleted. How do I do that? ==
Contact an administrator and ask them to delete you. Be sure to specify if you want your posts to be deleted as well. However, if you have submitted things to the wiki, we will not delete them.
== Can I connect to some social media? ==
We are working on setting up an easy registration service, using either OpenID or Facebook, or maybe both. We will still offer manual registration, so using this WILL not be requirement.

== I see some forums in the menu, but it say I can't access them. What gives? ==
Some forums are reserved for members only. Unfortunately, the menu does not consider this when displaying links, so for some members some forums will be linked, but not accessible. If you are certain you should have access to these forums, notify an administrator so proper permissions can be applied to your user account.
== What is the forum for? ==
The forum is meant for discussion and socializing. Feel free to use it however you feel fit, with some limitations:
* Flaming is not tolerated. in ANY form
* Trolls will be banned, permanently
* Generally douchy behaviour
Also note that even though the internet is international, your local laws will apply. hah-clan.net administrators are not responsible for the material you post, and if you submit illegal content you can be prosecuted for it. So use your head before posting.
== How do I post? ==
Just navigate to any forum you have access to and hit the new topic button. If you want to reply to a topic, just locate the Reply button. You can also quote and use other advanced functions. For more details, check out the [[http://www.hah-clan.net/faq.php|forum FAQ]].
== Chat, share, Stumble it, Digg it etc, what is that? ==
That is a bar from [[http://www.meebo.com|Meebo]], which allows you to share pages with Facebook friends, submit pages to Digg, vote up pages on Stumble upon, etc. It also allows you to chat with your friends using AIM, Google Talk, Meebo, Facebook Chat or MySpace Chat. You need a valid account with either one of those services to use this though.

== What is a wiki? ==
The general idea behind a wiki is to share knowledge. This is done by creating an environment were all users can create, upload and edit content. The HAH Wiki is a private wiki, where only members of HAH have full access and can edit the wiki. However, the wiki is open for all to see and read.
== How do I use the wiki? ==
That is totally up to you. Feel free to create [[wiki:portal|game portals]], add new pages to existing games or just read what is already there. The idea is that everyone should benefit from each others experience.
== I am a member of HAH, but can not edit or login to the wiki. What gives? ==

== I need help creating a wiki page, please? ==
First thing, check out the [[wiki:syntax|syntax]] page to see how to use the features of the site. Not all features are explained there, so be sure to check out the [[wiki:portal|portal guide]] for some of those as well. If you still can't figure it out, feel free to ask in the [[http://www.hah-clan.net|forum]]
== I want to create some member only pages on the wiki. How do I do that? ==
Short answer: You can't. However, it is possible, and in some cases can be done. Use the clan only sections to discuss the issue and an administrator can set the proper settings for you.
== I have added things to the wiki that I want deleted, but I am no longer a user. How can I do that? ==
Short answer: You can't. When you submit to the wiki, the content is licensed with a creative commons license. However, if the information is wrong, incomplete, copyrighted by someone else or harmful we might remove it, change it or update it. However, the general idea of a wiki is to make information freely accessible, and removing content will work against this principle.

== What is this "game" thingy on the forum? ==
This is a way for you to show off your game collection to the visitor of this site, and also show off what games you are currently playing. How and if you use it is up to you, though.
== How do I add a game? ==
Just use the "Add game" that pops up when you hover over the Game menu item. From there, select the appropriate category and check off the games you want to add. Then just hit the submit button, and the games will be added to your profile. Note that you should hit submit before jumping to the next page (if you have checked off any games), as it will not remember what games you checked on the previous page.
== How do I add a game to my "currently playing" list? ==
Again, hover over the Game menu entry, and click on the "My Game Collection". From there, navigate to the correct category, and find the game you want to set as active. On the right hand side of the box shot you will see two icons. The right most icon will set the game as currently played. If you are unsure about which icon you should press, hover over it. The correct icon will display "Show you want to play this game".
== What is this "Share game" stuff? ==
This allows you to track games you have shared or borrowed to other members on the forum.

== Who write the reviews? ==
HAH members feeling inspired. We only offer a place where they can publish their reviews, we have absolutely no requirement as to content, spelling or language. They do however represent the opinion of the writer, not all members on this site.
== I want to post a review, but I can't create a new thread in the forum. Why not? ==
As previously said, HAH members write these reviews. That is why creating new threads in those forums are limited to full HAH members only. However, by registering you can comment on any of the other reviews if you want to. We generally do not deviate from this rule.
== I want to include some pretty image rating for my review. Is that possible? ==
Yes, it is possible. If you have images, you can upload them as attachments or use an image hosting service, then use the forums IMG tags to display them where you want. However, we do not offer any rating system on the site. Most of the current reviews use a numerical system from 1 - 10, a similar system is preferred.
== How do I get those pretty headlines? ==
Those are achieved with BBcode. Currently heading 1 and 2 is supported, but lower levels can be implemented at request. To get a headline use:

== I am not sure about which category to use. Any limitations? ==
We are not super strict about correct categories, as long as it is one that fit. For example, putting a Grand Theft Auto game in the Party / Family / Quiz category is not accepted, and your review will be moved to a more appropriate category, but adding a Wipeout HD review in the racing category is perfectly acceptable even though it is a PSN game.
== If I join, do you guys expect me to submit reviews? ==
No, we don't. The reviews are just an additional service we provide for our members, both for the authors and the readers.
== I feel it is critical to include a spoiler in my review. Is that OK? ==
Generally, you should be careful about submitting spoilers. But we do however have a spoiler function in the forum, that hides the text. If you really have to include the spoiler, use:

This will display something like this:

== Some of the posted reviews are awesome. I want to include them on my site, please? ==
hah-clan.net do not claim any ownership of any user submitted content. If you want to use anything taken from this site, ask the appropriate author for permission. The only exception is the wiki, where most is licensed under [[http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/3.0/|CC Attribution-Noncommercial 3.0 Unported]]
